MIKE BEGG, PA-C

MIKE BEGG, PA-C Mike Begg has gained practical experience in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic and sports-related injuries over the past 25 years of his practice. Working in an orthopedic practice that provides cutting-edge treatment options, Mike has the knowledge base and experience to help take your understanding of this patient population to the next level.

While obtaining his bachelor's degree and master's degree in athletic training/sports medicine, Mike was able to gain practical experience working with injured athletes in the NAIA, NCAA and Professional Athletic teams. Mike followed up these experiences by teaming with a physical therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic treating multiple non-operative and post-operative patients. These experiences were fulfilling and propelled his desire to know more about "the rest of the story". Mike went on to complete Physician Assistant education and presently works with a physician group in an Orthopedic/Sports Medicine practice in Vail, Colorado.

The experiences he has gained on the playing field, in the operating room, through outpatient roles and working side by side with some of the most respected orthopedic surgeons in the world, have contributed to his thorough understanding of what it means to treat the orthopedic patient. Additionally, he has presented educational seminars to over 1000 medical professionals throughout the nation. Past attendees have found Mike's teaching approach to be entertaining, engaging, and very applicable to practice.
